good omens 2 is so funny because you can tell they stopped trying to hold michael sheen back and just let him be as unhinged and homosexual as his little heart desired
but watch out!
Hello, William,
friendly reminder that theater is supposed to fix all the problems of reality and make me forget that plumbing hasn’t been invented yet. you seem to have forgotten that since the end of romeo and juliet made me feel like shit
i really hope this hamlet guy gets sucked off in a coffee shop or i will literally set your theater on fire
i absolutely love teenagers. i told a group of them about my work and asked them what their demands for the united nations would be and they debated among themselves and told me to “tell them to make doner kebab three euros again”. yeah man i’ll ask
that post reminds me: you know what i haven’t seen in years? a spocked fiver
used to be (especially back working in retail in the middle of uni towns) i couldn’t go a month without seeing one of these
now? nothing.
i miss them
An Englishman is hiking in Scotland and he pauses to drink from a stream. A passing shepherd calls out “Dinnae drink frae that, it’s all fulla coo piss an shite!”
The Englishman says to him in a cut-glass accent “I’m terribly sorry, my good fellow, would you very much mind repeating that in the Queen’s English?”
And the shepherd says “I’m terribly sorry sir, I was only asking if you would like to borrow this tin cup and get a proper drink?”

For context, in ep5, there’s a bit where Aziraphale and Crowley banter a bit on Aziraphale’s French speaking and he starts talking a bit in French. But in the French dub, it was totally replaced (the dialogue with Justine too but it’s not very important) and it adds lore to the Ineffable Husbands lore.
So, here is the French transcription (time stamps 08:32 - 09:01)
A= Tu m’as démasqué, je me rends.
C= Et le pire c’est que tu m’as rendu accro ! J’adore leurs jambon beurre , leurs œufs mayonnaise, leurs croque-monsieur !
Nina= Vous êtes mignons
And now the approximative English translation I made :
C= Wait a bit, the others you bribed them with rare books and Justine it’s wines and cheeses
A= I know her well, *sigh* Parisians! I have spent a lot of time in Paris in recent centuries and I know their weaknesses. *weird voice* “Drink wine, cheese and a not overcooked baguette and they would follow you to Hell”
C=Says pot to kettle! You love good food! It’s your guilty pleasure.
A= You have discovered me, I surrender.
C= And the worst is that you made me addicted! I love their ham sandwiches, their eggs mayonnaise, their croque-monsieurs!
N= You two are cute
Do what you want with those informations
crowley thinks sheltering from rain for a few minutes is what it takes for people to fall instantly in love because it’s what happened with him
I FOUND THIS COMMENT ON A TIKTOK AND I THINK I JUST DIED.
Ok, hear me out, THE THING IS, Aziraphale doesn’t really care about what heaven did to him. Deep down, he thinks he deserved it. (I know, poor thing) But Crowley? Aziraphale ALWAYS though heaven was wrong about Crowley, and that him falling was a mistake. And to hear Metatron’s offer to restore Crowley, oh, that was enough to convince him. Aziraphale doesn’t think he’s “saving” him. He already think Crowley is good, better than all the angels he knows. What Aziraphale thinks he’s doing is bringing justice for Crowley. He can finally make it up for him, and show heaven how wrong they were about him in the first place.
He says to Crowley: “I don’t think you understand what I’m offering you.” Because to Aziraphale, he is offering justice. The second chance no one ever gave Crowley and that he always deserved. How could Crowley not see he was doing this for him? Aziraphale was hurt and felt rejected.
And when Metatron comes back to fetch him, he almost don’t go. He keeps looking out for Crowley, glancing at the window. But even without him, Aziraphale needs to do this. He needs to fix heaven for Crowley, even if he doesn’t understand it.
The bottom line is this: Aziraphale does it all out of pure, desperate love for Crowley. He loves Crowley so much that he put his desire to be with him aside, just to persue what he thinks Crowley always deserved to have: recognition.
